This scent (I could not choose black rose & oud option for the review) is easily a favorite for my husband and me. We tend to gravitate towards gender neutral-slightly masculine scents. This has a decent floral element to it but it’s not flowery to me. The candle can make a small room smell nice even when it is unlit. Once it burns for a while, it is strong enough to fill several rooms with a gorgeous scent for hours, yet is never overpowering. I tend to get headaches around obnoxiously strong candles and this one doesn’t bother me at all. 10/10 have already purchased more. Please S&S never discontinue

My best friend actually purchased my first set for my birthday this year. I fell in love immediately. I love everything from the branding & packaging, to the scents & textures. I especially love the deodorant. It is by far the best natural deodorant I’ve tried. Their lotions are so thick and smooth. The body wash smells so amazing, I get asked all the time what perfume I’m wearing and it’s just my body wash! I would absolutely recommend anything by Salt & Stone! Buy it ALL… that’s my advice!

Gosh. What a gorgeous scent: the Fig and Violet candle. The wax is velvety and smooth, and it's clean burning. I just have to trim the wick a little here and there. The Black Rose and Vetiver was a bit strong for me, but still beautiful-smelling. I light my candle before bed, and blow it out before I go to sleep. My whole room smells amazing. Thank you. :-)

I am in love with this candle. I had read online that it was a solid dupe for Le Labo's Santal 26 candle, scent-wise, and I think that's a pretty accurate assessment - they're very similar, so if you like that smell you'll probably love this one. Performance-wise, this candle outperforms many more expensive "luxury" candles that I've tried over the years - it burns evenly and cleanly, has a great (but not overpowering) throw, and I even catch light whiffs of it when it isn't burning from several feet away. I just ordered the Fig and Violet/Santal and Vetiver duo because I was so stoked on this one: I can honestly say it will be my go-to candle going forward!
