January 25, 2024Great set of tools for the individual who is diy’er. Each tool is comfortable to operate. The 5 inch circular saw is good for cutting 2x4’s but not for cutting large items. The drill driver has enough power and torque to remove and drive 3 inch wood screws with no issues. The light is just ok. Would rather have a combo with an impact wrench instead. The light works but there are better tools to add to this combo. The oscillating saw does a great job to trimming moulding and getting into tile grout. Battery life for each tool is expected as to how much you run it and the resistance it sees, but overall better than good. Overall I would recommend this combo for a diy but for better performance I would recommend any of the brushless tools as they are better for longevity and battery life.
I will never buy Ryobi again

July 30, 2024I got the RYOBIONE+ 18V Cordless 6-Tool Combo Kit with 1.5 Ah Battery, 4.0 Ah Battery, and Charger. The multi-tool broke the second time I used it. ( switch broke, videos on that too ) then the Reciprocating Saw stopped working. They all feel cheap, and the batteries don't last long.
I will never buy Ryobi again
Also purchased a Ryobi sprayer that didn't work right out of the box could hear the pump, but noting sprayed out. Found videos where they had to disassemble the pump, and cut the rubber reed valve clearance open. This worked once, but everytime I have to use it, it does not want to spray. I waited too long to return it, and threw the box away, so I'm out $120. I

December 30, 2024This set has a tremendous amount of variety and for the $199 price tag is almost impossible to beat. Drill, driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, multitool, and adjustable work light all paired with 2 batteries/charger. What more could a new homeowner of DIY enthusiast want, especially for the cool price of $199? I have yet to see a better deal in terms of price and variety in any other brand that is reputable. These batteries also fit my previously purchased Ryobi pole saw so I didn't waste money buying into a new brand with incompatible batteries. We used several tools the day we opened the set with no issues.
Good enough for occasional home use

June 23, 2024The tools work but there are some shortcomings. The speed of all is too high (compared to my original NiCad version of Ryobi tools) and thus causes some problems. The drill's chuck does not lock well and needs to be held with a cloth when tightening lest the knurling slip across your fingers and burn them. The canvas carry case is virtually useless as it smashes the tools together when carrying - it may damage them. Putting them in a cardboard box is safer. Over-all a good value for on-sale money if you just need a power set for around-the-home jobs but not up to professional standards (I don't think they're meant to be).
