August 1, 2024Terrifying. This is every parent's nightmare and I can't imagine what Kristina/Bree and her family went through. I had put off reading this for so long for various reasons and while I was fascinated (think driving by a car wreck), I don't know if I wanted to know all that happened. It is the quintessential cautionary tale about what happens with drugs and addiction. Did I appreciate the writing and the lesson it holds? Absolutely. It's written like poetry and reads that way, despite the topic. Did I like the story? No. It's sad and depressing. Would I recommend it? I don't know but I can't stop thinking about it.
Fascinating read

April 9, 2018Loved this book and the next two of the series. Written in a poetic fashion that I have never seen before. I read this in a day, non-stop. When you buy this one, trust assured, buy the next two immediately because you will be thirsting for more. And thanks to the author for not leaving us hanging at the end!

September 6, 2023This book is amazing for anybody, wanting to know about the life surrounding dealing with an addiction, and how it can inflict upon innocent family, and just a short amount of time the story goes through the ventures of Diana, and how she deals with her addiction.
