July 31, 2024I've owned several Keurig models and currently use a K-Supreme K910. I like it's small footprint, the fast brew and the large reservoir. When i saw the box for the K-mini Plus I expected a compact single-cup brewer. I was willing to sacrifice the larger tank on the K910 for portability of the mini while camping or traveling. After opening the box I come to find out that the two models are essentially the same size. The heights are the same, the front widths are the same and the rear width in the mini is only a half-inch less. If we discount the base for the tank on the K910, the mini is only a half inch shorter. See the pictures.
So i decided to test them side-by-side. Putting water in the mini is touchy because anything over 12 ounces will spill over. The K910 easily delivers three 12 ounce cups with water left over for a smaller cup. I started both units at the same time. The K910 delivers a 12 ounce cup while the mini is just starting to to drip. The K910 is twice as fast. Using the strong feature on both units and the same type of K-cup, the K-mini delivers a weaker and less hot cup. The conclusion is that compared to the K910 the mini does not deliver on the features advertised on the box. So should I keep the Mini as a back-up?After all it costs $70 less retail or $50 less when both are on sale. So, to a serious coffee drinker, the price is inconsequential when seeking flavor or speed. Think Starbucks. If desiring a smaller footprint or portability, Mini just doesn't cut it. It also fails the taste test, the speed test and the temperature. It's going back.
Cute little machine but....

November 14, 2024I love the look and the streamlined build of this Keurig MIni Plus coffee maker, and the color. However, I am rather disappointed in it for two reasons. The coffee maker leaks OFTEN! Be sure to have it on a drying mat or towels or sitting inside of a serving tray or you may have a watery mess on your hands when you least expect it. I thought it was user error the first couple of times, but something is going on with it. I'm not over-filling the reservoir; being very careful not to do so. After the first few uses, I thought it was acceptable and I threw the box out. If I had still had it after the second leak, I would have returned it.
The second reason is that the coffee made just isn't as hot as I'd like. I suppose that comes with the fact that it is a mini-Keurig, so I'm not putting a lot of weight on that.
Darling apparatus, but the leaking is a bit of a bummer.
The Mini Size is Good

April 26, 2024Bought one Keurig Mini in Evening Teal lasted less than a year. Called customer service and to no avail? My Family gifted me with another one in Mint Green for Christmas and never have misused it and in the middle of the pull out electrical cord the copper wire is exposed so unsafe. I only use this coffee maker a few mornings a week for my breakfast. I am not a true coffed drinker so it is definitely not overused ever. I also cool down the machine and tuck the electrical wire inside the back side of the machine and cover the resepticle with the cover provided. Well, this is Keuring K-Mini #2 machine for me @ approx. $110 ea. Never addressed by your Customer Service Dept. ? They just ignore a Customers concerns about this product being a money pit only. "NO" GUARANTEE ever? Very displeased as a Customer of Keurig.
Great for an office space

October 24, 2023I purchased this so that I could use this in my office with my return to work. I ended up purchasing this in the all white color. I currently have a larger Keurig at home and have had Keurig’s for well over 10 years now. Overall, I definitely recommend this product for those of you who are like myself and really don’t need a ton of functionality and want to use it in a more compact space. If you are looking for more functionality and wanted to have more bells and whistles than this is not the unit for you, there are plenty of other Keurig or espresso machines out there that would suit your needs.
I’ll share what I like and dislike about this product in hopes it will help others:
Likes:
• Size. It is efficient for my needs. I wanted a narrow/small spaced coffee maker without the need for a huge pot to clean or it taking up unnecessary desk space. ✔
• Water capacity. It works for my needs. I wanted a coffee maker that would not allow water to sit inside of it for more than the time I was using it due to me not being in the office everyday. This also means that I would need to be able to deal with having to refill. The Keurig container each time I wanted a new cup. This allows me to keep a clean unit and not have to worry about mold or other bacteria formulation while I’m working from home. What you put in is what comes back out and since I have a water container in my office, I’m not inconvenienced about having to go fill up the container.
• Storage. I love that this actually has built-in storage. My larger Keurig at home does not have built-in storage, so this was a nice feature to keep me organized.
• Pod slots in the storage container. This was a well thought out feature because it allows for the pods to stay organized within the container.
• Color. It’s a pristine/chic white & that’s exactly what I was going for. It brings me some peace.
• Cup Size. It accommodates all of the size cups that I actually use. I insured that I was purchasing a Keurig. That would accommodate what I needed.
• Cord. I like that this cord actually is retractable and goes inside the unit when it’s not plugged in. This actually eases my anxiety when there are too many plugs and cords all over the place. This keeps things neat, clean and organized for me, and I can’t convey enough how I appreciate that.
• Brew options. Since I am a seasoned Keurig user, I knew in advance that there was only one brew option available on this model and that was selecting, strong, and then hitting the brew button. This goes with you get what you put in factor in terms of the capacity of water that will come out. So ultimately, I think the justification here was that you already know how much you’re putting in so you should already know how much you’re getting out of the unit. I typically don’t brew more than a 12 ounce cup anyway even in my at home Keurig so this holds a 12 ounce capacity and therefore I will still be able to get the amount of water that I expect out of it. The only thing I do is that they did have the option to select the amount of water.
• Price. I actually love the price of this machine because I did end up getting this on sale. These were flying off the shelves like hotcakes. It seems because it truly was a great deal however, I probably would not be inclined to paying the full price for the minimalist functionality this provides. So just something to keep in mind here.
Dislikes:
• Sputtering. This is actually something that I noticed with every Keurig that I have had. Each time the brew begins to end the coffee or water will sputter out of the nozzle and then it sprays onto the keurig behind your cup. Since this is a white Keurig, it is extremely noticeable each time, so I will need to continue to wipe that down after every brew. That would be my only inconvenience at this time. If you’re a coffee drinker, I would suggest going with a darker color if you do not intend to wipe down your machine after each brew.
• Strong Button. For me, I think the strong button on pretty much any Keurig I’ve ever owned was almost a pointless feature. I had tested this function out over the years and really didn’t find much of a difference so I will have to continue to keep trying this one just to see if I actually see a difference but for now I’m really not so I’m kind of disappointed in that factor.
