July 21, 2024That tea pot is best of the best! The quality of this kettle is very different from ordinary kettles. Although I always chose only well-known, reputable brands. This kettle is very pleasant to the touch, its buttons are pleasant to press. I see that the brand did not skimp on materials. Important points for me: heats the water very quickly, works quietly, beeps quietly when it emits a shutdown signal. Silence is so important when your baby is sleeping! This kettle also does not have any plastic smell. It's quite environmentally friendly. There is temperature control. This is also important because different teas require different temperatures: green, white, black, pu-erh. In addition, there is a keep warm function. We use it when guests come to us and we need to be able to fill our cups with fresh aromatic tea at any moment of our friendly communication.

January 4, 2024Many of the reviews for nearly every make of electric kettle on Amazon talked about the flaws (serious, even dangerous flaws), unless they were posted within the first few days of purchase. They also complained of poor customer service. After weeks of research and reading reviews, I decided to go with Cuisinart, because of past experience, and EBay Refurbished, because of the 2-year warranty. The warranty was emailed to me the same day the kettle arrived (and it arrived very quickly). I fully expect this basic Cuisinart kettle to outlast the warranty, but if the worst were to happen, I have every confidence that the warranty will be promptly honored, also based on experience. We have used the kettle every day since it came. It has only two settings, on and off, and comes to a complete boil, then shuts off. Unless you are in the immediate vicinity, you will not know that your water is ready, except that the heating light is off, and the switch has returned to its off position. This is not an issue for us (it is a second pot, for personal use in our bedroom), but could be a challenge in a more public space. Our other kettle, a 4-year-old Cuisinart, has multiple settings, including a keep warm option, and a very loud Im done signal. The loud signal is particularly helpful whenwe have guests, but we rarely use any setting but boil, so for the cost savings, the basic kettle is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

April 26, 2023The Cuisinart electric teakettle was rated at the top of 2023 electric kettles when I sought out information before purchasing. We are trying to move away from gas power which prompted us to look into what we can eliminate from stovetop cooking. This was an obvious switch. It boils in about 5 minutes. It is loud, as mentioned by several reviewers, but the noise doesnt last long. It keeps the water hot for as long as we need it in the mornings for our French press. The brushed stainless is pretty good at hiding fingerprints but you do need to buff it regularly. I purchased an electric timer so we could preset it and have it do its job before we get out of bed. We havent felt yhe need to use it yet but thats another benefit of switching to electric. Were very pleased with this purchase. I got a great price on a refurbished model.
Really happy with my new Cuisinart electric kettle

November 21, 2024Very happy with this purchase! Build quality, ease of use, easy to keep clean. Nice stainless finish. Easily accessible spout filter. Very clear, external capacity gauge. Attractive addition to the countertop. Reaches full boil quickly, then shuts off. I have several other Cuisinart appliances, and have always been more than just "satisfied". I feel safe in recommending it highly.!!
