August 24, 2024Beautifully made . Boils quickly and quietly . Water level is clear to see and the LCD is easy to use - power on button can be used for regular 100 degrees tea and coffee , alternate buttons are there to suit green and herbal teas . Nicely balanced but I find the natural position for picking up and pouring to low down to reach the lid button when refilling , so use my other hand - no big deal . Expensive ( though I bought mine in a sale at 50% - has recently been at this proce for the rose colour on a few different websites ) . Like many things electrical these days , I just hope it lasts .

July 2, 2024We love this kettle. It is the latest in a series which have served us extremely well over many years. It looks great with a modern clean cut look and is easy to keep clean with its smooth stainless steel interior and removable easy-clean filter. The size suits our big tea-drinking habit and allows large amounts of water to be boiled rapidly and accurately to other temperatures when required. On reaching the end of life after heavy use I am happy to have got such clear and positive assistance from customer care to obtain a replacement at reasonable cost.
Expected more longevity

December 19, 2024Good looking kettle & I have no issues with its general performance. However my 1st one had to be returned as it failed to work. replacement was sent and has been fine for a couple of years though some of the chrome has come off but now I have a bother getting it to work without moving about stopping and restarting up to a dozen times. No idea if a replacement part would resolve and reluctant to buy another in view of the relatively short lifespan for the price.
Great kettle but dreadful base

February 23, 2022This was a replacement for our last one which died after over 3 years good service. However, the new base is wobbly which makes the kettle extremely annoying to use. We have only kept the new one because we can still use the original base. (Do insist on a replacement base if yours is wobbly.)
We love the different temperature settings, especially the 95 degrees for brewing coffee, the concealed element which makes it easy to descale as needed, the metal filter which lasts indefinitely and keeps back any bits, the no-drip pouring. The outside is easy to keep clean. Excess cord can be stored away. And, while quite heavy, this kettle weighs less than some others on the market. Give it a try, from a supplier passing on the full 3-year guarantee, but watch out for a possible wobbly base (which you would not want to suffer for 3 years).
