Steve Sidwell proves he's a MASSIVE Arsenal fan by standing on pub table to sing

The Brighton midfielder was more than happy to show his support for the Gunners ahead of the Man City game

Steve's a Gooner: Sidwell proves to be a MASSIVE Arsenal fan

He admitted it a few years ago, but just in case you missed it, Steve Sidwell is an Arsenal fan - a very, very big Arsenal fan, as the above video shows.

The Brighton midfielder, who has represented both Chelsea and Fulham in his career but never his beloved north London club (he was there as a youngster but never made a professional appearance), was filmed in a pub ahead of the Gunners game with Man City.

The video shows him - initially in disguise - jumping around while signing and dancing.

Other Brighton first team players appear to be inside the pub as Sidwell's name is suddenly chanted.

"Sidwell is a Gooner," rings out around the room as the midfielder then pulls off a long-haired wig and climbs up onto a table.

He then orders everyone to quieten down with a quick finger to the lips before starting another Arsenal chant while jumping around in delight.

Unfortunately for Sidwell, who played 63 minutes in Brighton's late 2-1 win over Birmingham on Saturday, he didn't have much to cheer about in regards to the game itself.
