From the brand’s stunning show in Monte-Carlo to the iconic replica presentation that took place last week in Miami, there has been no shortage of coverage surrounding the stunning new collection. Following the big Miami blowout, the collection launched in stores and online earlier this week. As usual, the amazing lookbook featured more bags than we could have ever imagined, many of which have never been seen before.
From the Runway and Beyond
While Chanel’s runway bags are the very first look into the direction of a seasonal collection, its actual offerings for a given season span way beyond what models actually carried on the runway. This includes rare colorways, new iterations of fan favorites, and different versions of the seasonal bags that walked the runway.
At first glance, the collection overall oozed a certain elegance but with an elevated athletic feel. In a way only Chanel can execute, the collection includes nods to various niche themes like the beaches of the French Riviera and the European obsession with motorsports. The codes of Chanel are refreshed and revived this season, shown in a stunning new light.
