Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson still can’t quite believe how much she’s shrunk.

“I go into the store, and they try to put me in 4s and 6s, and I’m like, ‘Who are you trying to talk to?'” the 29-year-old star told PeopleStylewatch. “My mind hasn’t caught up yet.”

“I didn’t expect to go as far as I did,” she said.

The Oscar-winning star was a size 16 before she became the spokesperson for Weight Watchers last year.

“Everyone sees the new Jennifer, but I’m stuck in my mind with the old one,” she told USA Today in January.

Hudson has always maintained that she never had a problem with her looks or her body. She says she just wants to focus on the positive aspects of living life at a healthy weight and being a positive example for her son, born in August 2009.

“Instead of saying I lost this or that, I feel like I gained 10 years of my youth back. I look 10 years younger,” she said. “People say to me, ‘You have Jennifer Hudson‘s face. Are you her little sister?’ “

Just don’t ask her how much weight she has lost or what she weighs now.

“A lady never tells,” she said.
