For Chanel Resort 2014, Karl Lagerfeld explains how the Cruise Collection transcended far beyond traveling and now an integral part of a Spring/Summer wardrobe. Color palates remained limited and true to Chanel form in timeless white, off-white, ivory and beige with darker hues in navy blue and black. The No. 5 fragrance bottle became a new Cruise Collection handbag. During Coco’s occupation, she played with concepts, using both authentic and imitation; to keep with her legacy, Karl Lagerfeld presented military chains in dark metal, gun-metal and faux diamonds.
