Multi-material band: An homage to materials used in iconic G-SHOCK models of the past
The band design featuring appealing, contrasting combinations of resin and metal materials symbolically expresses the evolution of materials used in G-SHOCK watches. The band attached at 12 o’clock is made of resin and urethane. A composite section with see-through fine-resin links is paired with a urethane section that connects to the case with a slide lever. The band attached at 6 o’clock is made of stainless steel. The links feature alternating colours, contrasting silver with gold IP, and the clasp features an engraving to commemorate the G-SHOCK 40th anniversary.

See-through LCD: Offering a peek of the circuit board
See-through material is used for the LCD to let the underlying circuit board show through. On the exclusively developed circuit board, the metal LSI cover has gold IP applied to it and is engraved with four stars to commemorate four decades of G-SHOCK. Together with the G mark and G-SHOCK logo that adorn the circuit board, these design features add a playful touch that can be seen from the outside. This novel design is achieved by using an LED backlight and transparent light guide plate.

See-through dial: Offering a distinct view of the composition of components
See-through material is used for the dial, index marks, and dial ring. The design offers clear views of the distinctive face moulding, down to the forms of individual components. The application of black printing to the underside of the dial helps prevent the penetration of light from outside, which otherwise could cause malfunctions, and provides accents that give the face an impressive look.

Special design commemorating 40 years of G-SHOCK
The words “SINCE 1983” are printed on the watch face. Gold IP is applied to the metal band loop or clasp, which is adorned with four stars, and the case back is engraved with a 40th anniversary commemorative logo.
Special packaging: Eco-consciousness embodied
Made with recycled materials to help conserve the environment, the specially designed packaging is shaped like the G in G-SHOCK. Recycled paper and vegetable ink is used for the outer box.
